With the development of a new site for South
Africans abroad, we needed to combine colours
which are familiar to South Africans and then
present it in a warm and welcoming manner while
maintaining a look of professionalism.
The page layout and colour
use
The colours from the SA flag have been used
starting with the blue at the top and on the right.
The red has been included on both the left and
right hand side columns for balance with the gold
placed in the centre and at the bottom of the
text section. With black being placed at the bottom
of the page and in the text of the navigation
bar.
Then to include the green we have made the SAffers
title in green wrapped by gold in a similar manner
to the flag. In putting thought into the font
used for the title we decided to go for the simple
Arial font and we have managed to say ''Simply
South Africa' which captivates who this site represents.
