Now please excuse the title to my latest blog I can categorically (can yous remembers who used to use that saying. sic) deny that I have come off valium or have ever been on valium. But, would you have preferred this title then, Motsepe makes Fortune’s Billionaires list?

Wozza is dat about den? This guy sure is clever rushing up de billionaires list since 1994. Here is a little something to whet de uppertight

"Referred to as the “Prince of Mines” in the magazine’s special report, Motsepe’s net worth is estimated to be US$2.4 billion. The 46 year old South African mining magnate is now the world’s 503rd richest person and South Africa’s first black dollar billionaire."

Wow and all this from 1994, now excuse the tone of my's dialect today I's hoping for a hand-out from my newest best friend.

Patrice MotsepeAnd a little more about him,

Born in Soweto, Patrice Motsepe first worked as a lawyer before embarking on a business career. Since buying low-producing gold mine shafts in 1994, Motsepe has built African Rainbow Minerals (ARM), a mining conglomerate which recorded a 2007 revenue of US$875 million

I am sure all South Africans living in their shacks are proud of the new South Africa and that Patrice has achieved such a lot in a relatively short time. Capitalism works wonders even if we used the banner of Socialism to get into power. Its all for a good cause, his of course.

No wonder megaphone man,  John Minto turned down the award from South Africa. The very reason he gave was as such

"When we protested and marched into police batons and barbed wire here in the struggle against apartheid, we were not fighting for a small black elite to become millionaires,".

And I am sorry to say (actually not sorry at all that is only an expression for the succinctly indifferent)Minto was spot on.

So as we glory in the image portrayed - With a wide smile and hands resting firmly on his hips, Patrice Motsepe is a figure of confidence as he graces the cover of Forbes Magazine's ‘Billionaires’ issue.

We can all be amazed that life for all South Africans has surely become so good and grand and that socialism is an ideal

Well ideally speaking that is, practise is left for the preacher left at the pulpit on a Baptist Sunday morning with an empty church with hope and despair outside calling for change

I really should get off the mushrooms, cousin Bernard has done me no favours sending me what he calls a 'little box of magic'

Heaven alone knows what he means by that?

And with that little blurp may all South Africans marvel at Patrice while others prefer Caprice

Anyone for polo?

Zappo and out

excerpts from SA Good News - boy it sure is good news for some.
