Now as you know, you simply cannot say to no to auntie if she invites you over and wants you to stay a few days. Always worthwhile, I got another long-sleeve pullover for my troubles. She is a right laugh Auntie Agathe, however I would not have said so when I was a wee lad. She scared the living daylights out of me then.

Well, what do you know, Chelsea have been thrown a lifeline by our friend Rio. Rio Ferdinand that is by way of Manchester United and formerly a servant of West Ham United. He scored an own goal to give Portsmouth a 2 - 1 victory over Man U.

After a few days of calm on the frontier, we knew we could rely on our faithful leaders to provide us something to talk about.

I was so looking forward to my trip to Thailand - it was quite a few years since my last visit. Going through security at Heathrow was a nightmare. It took me just as long to go through the security line as what it took to travel to Heathrow. My preference is an aisle seat - I can come and go as I wish and not disturb anyone. Next to me was a very nice couple, but unfortunately he was a bit on the large size, and I think in all the effort to get ready for his holiday he forgot to put some nice smelly stuff

Now I needed no invitation to the latest party to add my comment. After having read the latest article about the sweet fellow who was 'happy' and didn't want to be locked up with other males after being convicted for shoplifting.

Hi, its me again. Being a South African there are times when you simply have to scratch your head and wonder what planet most of us come from. The most recent incident is to do with the forthcoming 2010 Football (soccer for us) World Cup in South Africa. It's that fine fellow, Commissioner of Police Jackie Selebi. Less not forget President of Interpol

Well, we arrived in Onrus which was our first point of call, unpacked and went straight to Hermanus for lunch. This is an area that has grown out of all proportion, with developments sprouting up everywhere.

One launch down, two to go......
Ntshongweni will see their first international volunteers in mid April when a group from the USA will arrive to help the first two families build a new home for both themselves and the orphans they have taken in.
Next to launch will be the OVC project in Willowfountain which is near Pietermaritzburg. Mid April will also see the first volunteer groups from the UK coming here to help our first beneficiary families of this amazing partnership with The Thandanani Children's foundation.

What a pleasant surprise it was to arrive at the airport this time. Previously, we (myself and my UK friend Simon) have had to wait for a bus to transport us to the main terminal building, and then most of the immigration control booths were unmanned, meaning an interminable wait, in particular for non-South Africans.
