british passport
I was born in South Africa in 1950 to a mother & father who were british citizens by birth. I obtained a british passport through them. When my first child was born in 1974,I was given 6 mths to use on this passport with her on it (it was still valid for another 4 years) and was told to apply for a new one but through my father in laws british birth 3 yrs later my seond child was born and I obtained a british passport through my father in laws british birth. Both children were not put on this passport. First child was born in South Africa and the second in Rhodesia. Is there any way my children could obtain a british passport

Anne Hi

Were your parents born in the UK, or did they get British nationality through their parents?

At the very least, in any case, your children qualify for an ancestral visa if they were born in the UK, this website will give you guidance on that.

My parents were born and raised in Scotland and upto their deaths were collecting a british pension
