The Boys & Girls Clubs of America serves 3.6 million youngsters throughout the country. It opened its doors in 1860 and now has 3 600 locations that provide a safe place for kids to learn and grow, earning the distinction of being the "Positive Place for Kids". Other well-known alumni include former president Bill Clinton, Michael Jordan, Martin Sheen, Denzel Washington, Alex Rodriguez, Derek Jeter, and Bill Cosby.
