Yeah , the very best part of Spain ( we think ! )

and I'm talking from French border , after Perpignan , via Figueres and Girona , to no farther than Barcelona ;
actually , officially : Brava should stop at Blanes , but then : we are expats , so we can be excused our ignorances , sometimes ?

I'm told that after 15th-20th of August , it gets much better

than in the peak of summer holidays ;
- also , you might benefit from bargains , as the shops strive to clear overstocked items ?
Where exactly will you be staying at ?

That is why we go at that time of year, it is still hot but not overcrowded with tourists, and there is a chance of Barca playing at the Nou camp. We will be staying here this year
