According to Wium, they are looking forward to competing in January. “2010 is going to be a very important netball year for us with the upcoming Common Wealth Games. Although we’re entering on a social level, our preparation for the event will definitely provide a boost for our fitness levels. We’re really excited about participating as it will give us the perfect opportunity to mingle with other sport stars. We’re just going to give it our best shot,” says Wium.
Other top athletes to watch out for on the day include Dan Hugo in the individual men’s category of the event. Team ‘Totalsports PRO’ and ‘New Balance PRO’ will be the source of much excitement when they battle it out in the 7-member male team category.
