South Africa Tourism

South Africa Tourism

Pretoria – Tourism Minister, Marthinus van Schalkwyk, has announced the appointment of Thulani Nzima as the new Chief Executive Officer of South African Tourism.

He replaces Thandiwe January-Mclean, who vacated the position in June.

Currently working for rental company Avis, Nzima will lead SAT for a period of three years.

Van Schalkwyk said the tourism industry needed capable and strategic leaders who will not only create opportunities for tourism growth, but also take advantage of new opportunities created by the industry.

“I am confident that he will lead with integrity and courage,” he said. – BuaNews
