Moral money dilemma No3

Should you still help your children get on the housing ladder?

Your daughter and her husband have spotted their dream house, but they’ve no deposit and there are no 100% mortgages anymore. You’d always promised to give her the money and be a guarantor, but you think the markets crashing and this is a nightmare time to buy. Do you stick with your promise and leave it to their judgement or take control even though she’s an adult, after all its your money?

No dilemma about this one as I believe in long term investments and house prices always go up in the long run...

So yes !!!

Having said that she'd better not ever get divorced

Mcamp - what is your opinion?

Yes, without question if I made that promise then I would stick by it. Saying that, my children will probably be the ones buying me the house though
