Evening
Jen, I had in my mind the picture of that chap that was poisoned by the Russians (I think) some time back. It was a picture of him propped up in bed in hospital with a bald head and looking so ill because he had been poisoned............. that was me, but i would not sit up for the cameras....I took to crawling up into a ball and did not want to speak to anyone. My dog has cancer and she is the only one that was able to come anywhere near me. I had put her blanket on the bed next to me and she curled up and stayed with me all day........it's as if she knew :daisy:
Well I know iI am getting better because my sense of humour has fought it's way back...
My neighbour took me for my blood test and whilst we were in Hillcrest we did some shopping.....she bought a bottle of Whisky....nothing unusual about that but I was carrying the bottle and we then went off to the chemist to buy Valoids and a lovely lady at the counter who was training a women who appeard to be a new member of staff, started to talk to me about the nausea.
She said in a very low voice "Have you tried the weed"? Well I wish you could have seen the look on the trainee's face :innocent: "No, I have not. Do you think it would help?", "It helped my friend. All you need is a small spoon full of the dried weed, drop it into boiling water and leave for about 10 -15 mins. Then you sieve out the weed and drink the juice"!
She promptly gave me the Valoids, a small plastic spoon and put both in a brown paper bag. I fully expected her to pull out a small paper packet from under the counter :jester: .......naaaa..... she did not do that so I suggested to my friend we go off to the nearest shebeen to find a source for my fix. :innocent:
I am looking forward to the weekend and will pace myself for sure but it just feels good to have eaten and to be on the way up once more.
