Nice to hear you sound a little more chirpy and that you're eating well. :great:
Obviously you're well into the cycle - when is your next chemo? So I can think of and say a little prayer for you.
Just thinking of where you live, brings back so many memories of my childhood on the farm there between Thornville and Tala Valley, sort-of near Manderston. It was so beautiful and we had a big dam where we kids swam, fished and generally fooled around, braais, canoeing etc, with the dogs too. What a childhood (in between going to boarding school ) :wall:
Remember to still take your rest times/naps, to let your body recover from its regular assaults. But you sound good, that's brilliant. A goal like coming over to England and having great mother/daughter shopping times etc, is such a tonic in itself - but be careful not to plan too much activity - says she from experience. After my radiotherapy I was more exhausted than during the chemo, and the tiredness can be delayed too. It can't be fought either, just succumbed to, as your body screams that it needs rest. At least you won't ahve the heat to contend with as you'll be here over the SAfrican summer.
But as we always say, we're all different.
