What retired people do
#1
Working people frequently ask retired people what

They do to make their days interesting.

Well for example, the other day I went into town and went to

A shop. I was only in there for about 5 minutes.

When I came out there was a policeman writing out a parking ticket.

I went up to him and said, "Come on, how about giving a senior

Citizen a break?"

He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. I called him a

Nazi *******. He glared at me and started writing another ticket

For having worn tyres. So I called him a dick head.

He finished the second ticket and put it on the windscreen with

The first. Then he started writing a third ticket. This went

On for about 20 minutes. The more I abused him, the more tickets

He wrote.

Personally, I didn't care. I came into town by bus. I try to have a little

Fun each day now that I'm retired. It's important at my age.

A very self-important college freshman attending a recent football game, took it upon himself to explain to a senior citizen sitting next to him why it was impossible for the older generation to understand his generation. "You grew up in a different world, actually an almost primitive one," the student said, loud enough for many of those nearby to hear. "The young people of today grew up with television, jet planes, space travel, man walking on the moon, our spaceships have visited Mars. We have nuclear energy, electric and hydrogen cars, computers with light-speed processing ....and," pausing to take another drink of beer.
The Senior took advantage of the break in the student's litany And said, "You're right, son. We didn't have those things when we were young........so we invented them. Now, you arrogant little fart, what are you doing for the next generation?"

Would you "really" want to know what Oom Rob gets up to???
Always enjoy life - and remember there is always someone worse off than yourself - treat others as you yourself would want to be treated.

:haha: Since I retired I do more than when I was working - but I do love "stirring" up 'officialdom' especially when they treat people like s***! I have nothing to lose taking the "B's" on at my age, so yes maybe I would be one to cause the Traffic Warden to lose his cool before walking away. I used to think we were right B's in my days when I was a Traffic Officer, but we were gentlemen compared to these Wardens and Officers of todays walk of life. :innocent: :haha:
