Argus Cycle Tour 2013
On the 10th March I took part in the 36th Pick ‘n Pay Cape Argus Cycle Tour, along with 35000 other cyclists. It was the first time that I participated in a cycling race (runner here). To say I was nervous would be an understatement. I hadn’t trained but I wasn’t backing out.
We looked all set for our race in our sponsored gear. My husband stuck with me the whole way and even though he had trained he wouldn’t leave my side.
The vibe was amazing. The support phenomenal and even though I came far from finishing, the whole experience was well worth it.
Bring on 2014!
