Jamali set for JHB Race

Jamali

Jamali

Female musical group, Jamali will welcome runners and walkers home in Johannesburg on National Women’s Day (Friday, 09 August 2013) at the much loved Totalsports Ladies Race.

It’s been ten years since Jamali first won over the hearts of South Africans on Popstar’s 2003-2004 reality television show. The band consists out of three members, Jacqui Carpede, Mariechan Luiters and Liesl Penniken. The name Jamali is derived from the first two letters of each member’s name. The trio are best known for belting out sensational ballads and their uniquely South African sound that has taken them straight to the top of both radio and sales charts. Jamali continues to offer up stellar live performances packed with flawless choreography and harmonic vocals that are sure to get every single audience member on their feet.
