Durban – Durban based athlete, Jenna Challenor will be seen leading a field of inspirational women on Sunday, 19 July 2015 at the Berea Rovers Sports Club (Durban) when they line up to ‘Run Their City’ at the much anticipated Totalsports Women’s Race in support of PinkDrive.
“I love the race, the course, the atmosphere and the fact that it’s a women’s race,” says Challenor. “It’s amazing that the Totalsports Women’s Race is held in support of PinkDrive. I am proud to be a part of it. Last year I ran in honour of a close friend who passed away from cancer. It was a very special experience and for that reason the event will always be close to my heart”.
“My goal for 2015 will be to run a solid race,” continues Challenor. “I have just come back from injury and have no idea where my fitness is right now. The competition on event day is always fantastic. It pushes you out of your comfort zone and makes for a good solid run. The vibe and atmosphere carries you through the race. Athletes wanting to secure a personal best time will be happy to hear that the route is fast and flat”.
Challenor will face tough competition from Lebo Phalula, LebogangPhalula, RutendoNyahora and Yolande Maclean.
